There's even one on top of the refrigerator.
I should have thrown them away weeks ago.
I count them: 13 empty bowls, but no spoons.
I had already removed them,
melted the plastic and let it fold over itself and disintegrate with every lick of the flame-- like burning away memories with the fading smoke
and the smell of lingering discomfort.
I start collecting the bowls, remembering;
the yogurt was always tangy, but still sweet.
